Sparkling Childhood Memories

Image
My childhood was a kaleidoscope of bright moments, stitched together with love, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends.   One of my most cherished days was my 7th birthday. The room bloomed with pink and purple balloons, and a big banner declared “Happy 7th Birthday Nathalie Grace” in cheerful letters. Tables groaned under the weight of delicious food—colorful platters of treats, stacks of cupcakes, and a beautiful cake waiting to be cut. I served as an SSLG officer, and that experience shaped me in so many ways. Being part of the student leadership wasn’t just about having a title — it was about serving, leading, and making a difference in our school community. I learned how to speak up, take responsibility, and believe in myself. Academically, I was also recognized as With Honors, and that achievement meant so much to me. It proved that I could balance leadership, academics, and extracurricular activities. It wasn’t always easy, but I worked hard for it. I was also very active in school events. I joined pageants, stepped out of my comfort zone, and discovered a new level of confidence within me. But one of my proudest moments was becoming the Champion in Spoken Poetry. Not only that — I was chosen as a representative for spoken poetry. Being trus...
